Breakthrough Goals Data Entry Information

Introduction:

This online tool has been designed to be a valuable and easy-to-use resource for church leaders. At your 2011 charge conference, you prepared your 2012 Breakthrough Goals for leading your congregation in making disciples for Jesus Christ. This tool will help you track your progress toward the unique goals you've set.  Here's a copy of the 2012 Goal Card that each congregation (including satellites and second campus sites) completed and returned to their district office:  2012 Breakthrough Goal Card  The Cabinet has prayed over each and every one of your cards.

The Basics:

1. All clergy appointed or assigned to a congregation have access to the online data entry area for their church(es) through their conference login.
2. Clergy may give others from their congregation the ability to login and add data each week. Call or email your district office to add another person.
3. If you are the designated person to enter weekly data for your congregation, go to www.westohioumc.org and click on the "Church Data Login" link on the right. Use the username and password previously provided to or created by you. Only the person or persons designated by the pastor will have access to the online data entry area for their church.
4. You'll also notice three links at the top of this page: West Ohio Home  Church Data Login  User Login    The "Church Data Login" link is the same link to the breakthrough goals data entry area that you can access from the conference website.  The "User Login" link is the link to online events registration. BOTH USE THE SAME LOGIN AND PASSWORD BUT TAKE YOU TO DIFFERENT AREAS IN THE DATABASE.  "West Ohio Home" takes you to the conference website home page. 
5. Collect the week's breakthrough goal data. If you want a "cheat sheet" to gather data before going online here's one:  Weekly Data Worksheet
6. Each week login via the conference website and enter the prior week's data (weeks begin on Monday and end on Sunday.) You can add or edit data from prior weeks at any time.  Here's an instruction sheet to provide to whomever is doing data entry: Data Entry Instructions  
7. View your progress toward your goals with reports you can generate from within the data entry area.
